Morgans is located right on the stunning Scarborough Boat Harbour – dotted with luxury yachts, pleasure craft and commercial trawl fishing boats and overlooks the Bay and has views of the iconic Glasshouse Mountains.

After having their own trawler and fishing business in the Noosa area, Rick & Chris Morgan set their sights on Oyster Point at Scarborough and opened their Seafood Market in 1986.

Fresh seafood just off the trawlers was an obvious hit with seafood lovers all over Brisbane. Which of course has led to the expansion of their seafood market over the years to include a number of other outlets such as their: Seafood Take Away, Award winning Seafood Restaurant & Teppanyaki Room, Oyster Bar, Sushi Bar, and 200 seat super-modern Function Centre (and if you a here during a Morgans sunset then you will know why it is aptly named Morgans Sunset Blue!)

The Morgans brand has a reputation synonymous with quality seafood.

Their Seafood Restaurant & Teppanyaki Room opened in 1992, and since then has won a string of awards – local, state and Australia – wide accolades.

Morgans Seafood Restaurant is one of the state’s most renowned seafood restaurants with a collection of local and state awards. At the helm is Executive Chef Deberah Healy. Her cuisine style is contemporary Australian seafood with a Mediterranean twist her food is superb and full of flavour, freshness, texture, her presentation is modern and visually appealing. Her 25 or more years as a chef with a decade of specialising in seafood brings a wealth of product knowledge to the dinner table – you can taste the passion in her food!
